The most popular email marketing platform with a huge template library and beginner-friendly interface.

Mailchimp is one of the most recognizable names in email marketing, offering an all-in-one platform for small to mid-size businesses. With an intuitive drag-and-drop builder, massive template library, and built-in CRM, it is a solid choice for marketing teams.

However, pricing has become a significant pain point since the Intuit acquisition. The free tier is limited and costs scale quickly as your list grows. Deliverability has also been inconsistent compared to dedicated ESPs.

  • All-in-one marketing platform

Good for beginners, expensive as you grow

Mailchimp got us started with email marketing but we are seriously considering switching. The free tier is too limited now and the pricing jumps are steep. Templates are nice though.

Deliverability issues lately

We have been seeing more emails land in promotions/spam tabs. Support has not been helpful. Considering alternatives for 2025.

Still the easiest to start with

For someone who has never done email marketing, Mailchimp is still the most approachable platform. Templates are great and the onboarding walks you through everything.
