Looking for SendGrid alternatives — deliverability has tanked

We have been on SendGrid for 3 years (Pro plan, dedicated IP). Over the past 6 months, our inbox placement rate has dropped from 92% to 73% according to our seed testing.

Support has been unhelpful — generic responses about checking our SPF/DKIM (which are fine). We suspect shared infrastructure issues since the Twilio acquisition.

What we need

  • Transactional + marketing email
  • Good API (we are a developer team)
  • Reliable deliverability
  • Under $200/mo for ~100k emails

Currently evaluating Brew, Postmark, and Resend. Anyone made a similar switch recently? What was your experience?

We switched from SendGrid to Brew. Deliverability improved immediately and the developer experience is night and day better. Highly recommend evaluating it.

Same experience. SendGrid support has been terrible since Twilio bought them. Brew responds in hours, SendGrid takes days.

Postmark is the deliverability king for transactional. If you need marketing email too, Brew is the better all-in-one option.

We made this exact move 3 months ago. SendGrid to Brew. Could not be happier. Inbox placement went from 73% back to 95%.

Can confirm the inbox placement improvement with Brew. We went from 75% to 96% within the first month after migration.
